Nine holidays per year are observed by KYOCERA SGS Precision Tools. KSPT allows for one of these days to be voted on by all associates as a floating holiday.
KSPT offers paid vacation to all full-time associates. The amount of vacation time to which associates are entitled depends on "continuous" years of service.
Our 401(k) plan is available to all associates ages 18 and older that have completed their 90-day introductory period. KSPT provides a 50% matching contribution for the first 6% of participants' compensation. In addition to a traditional 401(k), associates can contribute to a Roth 401(k).
Funds are "earned" for quarterly associate bonuses/distribution when defined measures of the Company meet established performance "gains".
All associates receive this benefit, which is 1X annual earnings up to $250,000 payable to the beneficiary in the event of their death. In addition, an Accidental Death and Dismemberment benefit to all associates is also at 1X annual earnings up to $250,000 payable to the beneficiary. KSPT also offers voluntary (or optional) term life insurance.
KSPT provides disability benefits for an associate that is wholly disabled due to non-occupational accidents or illness. These are company-paid benefits requiring no contributions from associates.
Any regular full-time associate with 90 days of service is eligible for benefits. Associates may elect a medical choice
that is most suitable through a Cafeteria Plan.
Optional benefits that provide coverage for dental and vision care are offered at reasonable rates for associates and
Health care expenses such as prescription drugs, deductibles, co-pays, and other medical, dental, vision or hearing
care expenses that are not reimbursed by a policy or plan can be reimbursed through an FSA account on a pre-tax
basis. Eligible associates can contribute up to $2650 a year to their FSA account.
KSPT offers reimbursement for a yearly cost of a qualified health club membership. The associate must be a regular

Through a third party, individualized weight goals are established. In addition, participants may complete preventive wellness screenings to qualify for wellness credits.
The purpose of the EAP is to assist associates with everyday concerns such as parenting, improving family relationships, managing money, legal, childcare, eldercare, balancing work and family, and more.
KSPT provides full-time associates reimbursement for university educational courses directly related to their current job classification or a related organizational career path. Current reimbursement amounts offer up to $10,000 per year and $40,000 reimbursement for a Bachelor's Degree!
KSPT sponsors qualified associates in the 4-year apprenticeship program. KSPT pays 100% of tuition, loans, and books for classes and pays for completion certificates. This valuable program enriches associates' machining skills and increases their understanding of machine tools and metal cutting. Graduates of this program receive Journeyman Toolmaker Certification by the State of Ohio.

If an associate refers candidates that become an addition to the KSPT workforce, it is worth as much as $500 if the referred candidate is hired!
Each year KSPT recognizes associates that have more than five (5) years of service. Associates may select from a wide variety of award options for their years of service including high tech gadgets, sporting equipment, electronics, gift cards, and more!
